My role as the Director of Broadcasting for the Michigan Wolverines requires many skills, one of which is creating a wide range of content. As detailed below, I am uniquely qualified to help the Jaguars replace the great work from J.P. Shadrick. First, here is a clip that showcases some of my hosting and interviewing abilities.
Along with my radio work as the pregame and postgame host for Michigan football and the play-by-play voice for Michigan men’s basketball, I contribute to the athletic department’s video content. I host and produce game previews, postgame recaps, and podcasts.
I take pride in developing genuine relationships with those in the athletic department, and I believe it shows in the interviews I conduct. On top of the Dusty May interview in the basketball video above, I wanted to share a few audio interviews as well.
Our audio podcast network has been the most popular team-specific podcast within the Learfield family throughout the decade. We feature three types of shows–In the Trenches presented by Meijer (football), Defend the Block (basketball), and Conqu’ring Heroes (all other sports). Our top-performing episodes are our game recaps, which come out soon after football and basketball games. Here is an example from each sport.
You can visit other pages on this website if you would like to learn more. If you made it this far, I believe the short video below showcases my passion for the industry and approach to those around me. I lean into each assignment and season while remembering those who helped me throughout the journey.
If you have a radio vacancy for the upcoming season, I would be honored to bring the same type of energy, work ethic, and dedication to Jacksonville. Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me!
